Pecorino Tomato Sauce

A delicious twist on a classic Italian sauce, this rich tomato sauce is made even more flavourful with the addition of Pecorino Romano cheese. Known for its distinctive savoury character, Pecorino is a hard sheep’s milk cheese with a pleasantly tangy, earthy flavour and subtle buttery notes.

Made with Italian tomato pulp and cherry tomato purée, this sauce is blended with ricotta, extra virgin olive oil, fresh vegetables, basil, garlic, and Pecorino Romano for a beautifully balanced and authentic taste.

Uses:
Perfect with your favourite pasta dishes, including spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi, and cannelloni. It’s also delicious served with polpette (Italian meatballs) or spooned over arancini. For the best results, use just enough sauce to coat the pasta rather than covering it completely.
