Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how AgriTech North processes, ships, and delivers orders within Canada and to international destinations. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below.

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES (HANDLING)

We prepare orders for shipment as quickly as possible.

Canada: Orders are typically processed within 0–1 business day.
International: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days because international shipments may require additional preparation, documentation, and packaging.

Order cut-off time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM Central Time on business days generally begin processing the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off are generally processed the next business day.

Business days: Shipping processing business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays and our elective Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday. Shipping handoff and carrier pickup may occur Monday to Saturday, depending on the carrier and service level.

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA

Estimated delivery time: Most Canadian orders arrive within 1–5 business days after the order ships, depending on your location, carrier capacity, weather, and service level.

Remote and rural delivery: Deliveries to remote, rural, or Northern communities may take longer than the estimates above. If your community is regularly impacted by limited carrier routes, seasonal access, or extended transit lanes, we recommend allowing additional time.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (OUTSIDE CANADA)

Estimated delivery time: International deliveries vary widely by destination. Most international orders arrive within approximately 5–15 business days after the order ships, but delivery can take longer due to customs processing, local carrier handoffs, weather events, and destination-specific disruptions.

Customs, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes (including VAT), brokerage fees, and customs charges assessed by your country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping charges and remain the customer’s responsibility. Customs authorities may also delay delivery beyond the estimates above.

No guaranteed delivery dates: International delivery estimates are not guaranteed. We cannot control customs timelines, border inspections, or local carrier delays.

SHIPPING RATES AND FEES

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the items in your cart (size and weight), and the shipping option selected. Any free-shipping offers, thresholds, or promotions will be shown at checkout when available.

ORDER TRACKING

When tracking is available for your shipping method, we will email you a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order has shipped. Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take 24–48 hours to begin showing movement after your label is created or your parcel is picked up.

ADDRESS ACCURACY AND DELIVERY DETAILS

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses.

Address changes: If you need to update an address, contact us immediately at the support email below. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or shipped.

Undeliverable or returned parcels: If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, an incomplete address, refusal, or failure to pick up from a depot, we may be able to reship it at the customer’s expense. If reshipment is not possible, we may issue a refund for the item(s) only, minus any non-recoverable shipping and handling fees, and any return-to-sender charges billed to us by the carrier.

PO boxes and special addresses: Some carrier services cannot deliver to PO boxes or require a physical address for delivery. If your order requires a signature, secure building access, or special delivery instructions, please include clear notes at checkout where available. We will attempt to accommodate all shipping addresses to the extent carriers permit them.

DELAYS, DISRUPTIONS, AND SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to weather, wildfires, floods, road closures, labour disruptions, carrier network congestion, remote-area routing, or customs processing (for international orders). If a shipment is delayed, we will support you in contacting the carrier and reviewing options.

DAMAGED, LOST, OR MISSING PACKAGES

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at the support email below with your order number, photos of the damage, and photos of the packaging, including the shipping label.

If your tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive the package, first check around your delivery location, building mailroom, and with neighbours, then contact the carrier. If you still cannot locate the parcel, contact us within 3 business days of the delivery scan at the support email below. We will help you investigate with the carrier and determine next steps based on the carrier’s investigation outcome.
