Sorrel - Red Vein

This green shield with red veins has come from across the seas of Europe to the United States and other countries, just to grow wild in other lands. This plant is considered a symbol of "the cross and the trinity" to the Druids of Ireland. This herb has a reputation of having properties of antioxidants and laxatives, but also carrying vitamins A, B, and C with its tangy citrus flavor.
