Sage - Garden

Sage is a leafy green aromatic that is in the mint family, native to the mediterranean and asia it has since become natural globally. Sage is only high in vitamin K, while A, C, E, are found in smaller amounts. Sage has an earthy, peppery and minty taste that can be dominant, for that reason it is best used in dishes with other flavourful ingredients to offset the taste.

Pairings:
Thyme, marjoram, rosemary, garlic, onion, oregano, parsley, and bay leaf.

How to Use:
Used for garnishing, or aromatic for meat.
